“Okay, first we need to get some Oxycodone for your pain,” he said to his double.
“Wait, that’s legal here? In my world it’s banned under the UN charter.”
“Well, it’s controlled, but I can write one…” He paused. “Okay, I have to think this through. I can’t write a prescription for that stuff for myself.”
“Ah, that’s a problem. Forget the painkillers. I’m going to need some vitamin supplements very soon.”
“Why’s that?”
“I think my amino acids are reversed compared to your worlds. Without some very specific chemicals I’m going to starve to death before I can heal.”
