"We're the first generation to take residence on the Ring. The ones with the memory of life on Earth. The second generation, the ones for whom life on the Ring is all they know, is being born right now. We can make an impression on them, let them know what they've lost. Generation Three will be born as we're starting to age. Our stories will be tales from their grandparents. Some will listen to us, some will ignore us. Generation Four will come after we're gone. No one will have a living memory of life before the Ring and the Groupmind. All their life they'll have lived with the Groupmind and a morph companion. They'll listen to the stories... and most will wonder what the big deal is. And the Resistance will die out."

Very much so. Fortunately there's a very much planned lack of bomb making materials on the Ring.

If you know what you're doing, you can pretty much make a bomb out of anything. I remember reading any Army manual on the subject once, which listed (among many other methods) a way to blow up a house with a bag of flour. The Ring has to have cleaning and medical supplies.
