jeriendhalHas there ever been a portrayal of Cardinal Richelieu in TTM since the '73 Richard Lester version where he wasn't portrayed as an over the top James Bond villain intent on murdering the King and taking France for himself? Note that in Lester's film, while Richelieu was working against the King, he also working for France's best interests, trying to derail the Queen's affair with an English noble, who after all was a representative of France's national enemy.
