Lines I Mean to Use, But Don't

For whatever reason I've got a couple of pieces of dialog in my head that have been sitting there for years and I've never been able to place them in any of my stories.


(Protagonists are about to do/encounter something obviously dangerous)

ProtagOne: This is going to hurt a little, isn't it?
ProtagTwo: Oh, no. I imagine it's going to hurt enormously


(Protagonist just survived said painful encounter)

ProtagTwo: Can you get up?
ProtagOne: Do I absolutely have to?

Does anyone else ever have this problem?

On the pressures of attempting to be a benevolent dictator:

I find posting these things under What? relieves a lot of the pressure. Not all.
