Honestly, what kills me sometimes is seeing a subway station in "DC" is that is so painfully not a Metro station. They and their subway cars are very distinct.

The one that bugged me the most was that HUGE canyon/quarry in Iowa in the first Star Trek reboot movie. I don't know why that one in particular given that I sat and chortled at (not with) the giant submarine in the canals of Venice and the seacoast of Mongolia in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but there it is.
