Depends on the prank, of course. Berkeley Breathed's April Fool's this year was just plain fun and I smiled at it. Posting a fake news article about, say, Babylon 5 being relaunched, or DC deciding to re-cut Batman VS Superman to make it fit the real Superman's character, I just roll my eyes.
Pulling a prank that either actually scares someone, or raises real hopes only to dash them, that gets the cold stare and "seriously?" reaction.
I have three much older sisters whose concept of April Fool's Day left me pretty scarred. I don't really care how innocent the prank is, it's something you don't want to try to pull on me.
