Solar Space update

Have a working outline finished for this, and have written a brief introduction and the skeleton of a solar gazeeter. I'm also working on a timeline (just up to the early 50's, with the first atomic rocket launch and the real reason behind Gen. Macarthur's firing). I fear my idea of the UN taking over responsibility for atomic research is a bit of a Mutant Space Bat, but I can't see any other reasonable lead in to it's eventual responsibility for all Earth orbiting atomic weapons.

Suggestion: Tie it in to the UN control of the allied force in Korea--the USSR gets into a snit and takes its ball and goes home, leaving the UN a safe place for the USA to transfer agencies to.

That sounds promising, and it fits in with the reason Macarthur got yanked (he was trying to gain control of local nuclear weapons without presidential authority.)
