The coke bottle one is just utterly open-mouthed stunning.

I don't guess I ought to have any particular reason to find it amazing, but I did go "hey, wow, damned_colonial lives in Sydney". I think every third person in Australia must be on LJ. Half the rest have their blogs elsewhere I guess.

I remember seeing a remarkable example of the same sort of thing in a small church in Rome. When you walk in, the church appears to be the standard t-shape, but when you get down to the far end you realize that it's T-shaped - the fourth arm is painted on. Just an incredible illusion.
