Saw what was quite possibly the wierdest animated crossover episode ever on the Disney Channel Sunday morning. I flipped it on to see the last five minutes of Kim Possible beating on Shego, while Dr. Drakken chased Stich rather futily, and Lilo cheered Stitch and Kim on. And then Drakken's underwater base near the Hawaiian islands blew, and all the good guys were picked up from the ocean by Pleakly and Jumba.

Observation One: Is the sheer freakyness of the characters existing in the same story universe. If Kim and Lilo live in the same plane of existence, then it's no wonder no one actually notices that Lilo and Nani have three aliens living in their house. Compared to Drakken trying to take over the world by becoming a hit rap singer to promote his mind altering shampoo, that's practically normal

Observation Two: The sad thing is that they didn't even try reconcile the incompatible animation styles of both series. Kim & Ron looked like Kim & Ron, except that their very stylized, angular characters were standing next to the slightly more realistic, curvy Lilo. This was especially noticable when Pleakley rescued them wearing a Kim wig.

Not that Pleakley cross-dressing for no descrenable reason isn't freaky enough.

Well, it's bit more romantic than that.
