China Girl Update
Sep. 30th, 2005 03:06 amWe had our first interview with the social worker from Creative Adoptions last night. Both Tracy and I were gibbering nervous at first, but Pamela managed to put us at ease and run through the gamut of questions (how did you meet? What's your parenting style? How do you resolve dissagreements?) without too much pain. She seemed charmed by Thomas, which helped.
One sticky point was that she wanted a tour of the house, and we hadn't had time to clean the basement! Fortunately Tom had gone down to sleep by the time that rollled around, so she decided to do that at the next visit. When she left I think both Tracy and I started giggling just because we'd been so keyed up about everything.
