New Uploads: Finally got around to converting and uploading Teal's Bargain, Teal's War and Teal's Choice to Amazon for sale individually. We'll see if anyone bites, especially since I posted the complete The Dragon's Companion first.

Covers: Still waiting on Cheeko and Wazzy for the new covers for CotRV and POW.

Triumvirate: I'm about halfway through the initial pass to convert the old html tags to proper formatting. After that the tough part starts with reworking the training scene.

Tagging: Poor, poor Rolas. Amazon's auto-suggest system for the tags seems to be convinced Captive of the Red Vixen is a m/m romance. Bwaha.

"Not funny."

"Hush, love. By the way, how well does your steampumk alternate like his superior officer, Captain Brushtail?"

"Don't even go there..."

The Future: Idea popped into my head last night about converting one of my old D&D fanfics into a straight up fantasy short novel. Nice idea, except that it's got a drow Dark Elf in it and those have been done to death. Also shaving the spiders, snakes serial numbers off might make it more trouble than it's worth.

Meanwhile Warbird sits patiently for me to finish my vacation.

Home again, home again, jigity-jig.

Yesterday we went to Busch Gardens for the third and final time. First we went to the Sesame Street play area and Georgia rode the Grover coaster twice. Next Mommy wanted to ride the Le Scoot (aka the old olg flume ride). She went with Tom alone because Georgia didn't want to go and Daddy was tired of spending most of the day soggy. After the first ride she convinced us to come along and try it anyway since the only thing that got wet was her arm a bit.

Mistake.

Turns out she didn't get wet because she and Tom had been the only ones in the log car, riding in the back so most of the water passed safely under the bow. With her and Tom up front and Georgia and I in the back it was weighed down enough that we all got thoroughly soaked, much to G and I's disgust.

then we wandered over to the Land of the Dragons to let the kids play on the wee rides. At one point I took G on a ride while Tracy monitored Tom on the slides, but he took so long coming down she thought he'd gotten past her and headed to the Loch Ness Monster on his own. I found him leaving the slide area and caught up with Tracy who was having a freak out at the Lost Child station. After calming down we moved on to Loch Ness to let Tom ride a couple of more times, then hit the Battering Ram and Da Vinci's cradle, with Tom and I riding since G was too scared. A couple of more rides later we trudged back to the resort and started putting our gear back together for the ride home the next day.

Today we drove home, starting out at 8:30 after Tracy got back from jogging at the gym and returning to Columbia around 11:30am. Our neighbor gave back my keys and we went into the house to find the cats and Sadie glad to have us back. Unfortunately I also found that one of the kids had apparently been fooling with the controls of the upright freezer down in the basement and that it had been turned off all week. So I ended up dumping the contents into the trash and wiping it down rather hurriedly.

But now we're home with another two days to recuperate before going back to work Monday. I'll be glad to sleep in my own bed again.
