Wake/Shadow of the Red Vixen: Plot Bunnies
Dec. 2nd, 2011 06:49 amI think I'm looking at two mutually incompatible choices here for Salli's story.
1. Conventional romance with a handsome Foxen expatriate she meets on Earth working as a park ranger, as they fall together dealing with Native American artifact poachers in the Southwest.
2. A considerable less conventional lesbianripoff homage to The Bodyguard as Salli finds herself falling for her beautiful and capable maidservant/bodyguard/ex-Extraordinary Forces companion while under a kidnapping threat.
The first one is very conventional, the second I'm not sure I can pull off properly, though it makes more sense given Salli's position as a noblevixen and a very understandable reluctance to have any intimacy with males beyond hugs from her immediate family.
Have to see. I'll admit the latter is probably going to get more sales, given the preponderance of homosexually themed stories in the furry community.
