“’You wake up in a blank room,’ Ha!” He hated clichés, he really did. Especially when they happened to him.
So… room. He turned around. It was a ten foot wide cube. Grey carpeting on the floor, white walls that felt like plastic. A light panel on the ceiling above, well out of reach, along with a small air vent. No windows. And no door.
“Screw this,” he muttered, and sang the Word of Home. A black disc appeared in the air and he stepped through.
…right back into the room.
“Okay, this may be more difficult than I thought.”
