Nostalgia Update

Lost the auction for SolarQuest (outbid in the last fifteen minutes, darnit). But on the plus side, I did find this page detailing the old "Captain 20", kids show host for WDCA, prior to it being gulped up by FOX. I hadn't realized there had been two previous Captain 20's, prior to "my" Captain taking over the show.

I used to watch Creature Feature and Captain 20....but the DC stations didn't come in very well back in the day. I got more of Baltimore's own double-duty host, George Lewis (aka Captain Chesapeake and The Ghost Host). I actually met him a few times as a kid (and Stu Kerr, Professor Kool, once).

I had the opposite problem. Couldn't pick up WBFF except for a very fuzzy picture. I've still got the Captain Chesapeake theme song in my head though.
