MoS Makes My Day Shiny

From today's A Miracle of Science commentary:

"In other news, we received our first bit of fan writing (as opposed to the many beautiful pieces of fan art we've received) a couple of weeks ago. I've converted it from Microsoft Word into HTML, and forwarded it to Mark to be put up on the fan art page. I cannot tell you how cool it is to have someone write something for MoS. I suspect Mark is used to people sending in fan art, but fan writing is a new experience for me."

Apparently I'm the first person to write an MoS fanfic. And the original authors liked it.

How cool is that?

No, no, I don't think we've ever talked before. :) Anyway, I know Jim from when we both attended Western Maryland College. I shared a campus garden apartment with him for our sophomore year.
