jeriendhalJust had a horrible idea for an American sitcom or a Japanese Anime.
Solid Snake and Otacon from the Metal Gear Solid series, when not fighting the evils of Metal Gear proliferation, are forced to share a cramped NYC apartment to meet the rent. Otacon is the main breadwinner, managing a home based web-programming business, while Snake is forced to swallow his pride and work as a gym instructor at the local Bally's Fitness Ctr.
Snake is constantly bitching at Otacon to get more of a backbone and ditch his Oedepus Complex, while Otacon yells at him not to leave bits of his gun collection scattered around the living room. Hilarity insues when Meryl moves out of her uncle's place and starts bunking on the couch, and they have to hide her from Solidus the Building Super.
Oh, yeah, and Ocelot and Liquid are the gay couple living next door.
Network Exec: "It's like the Odd Couple meets Will & Grace, only they save the world!"
