Taste Test

Item: Local grocery store was out of Diet Vanilla Cherry Dr. Pepper.

Item: They did however, have a new product "Diet Berries & Cream Dr. Pepper"

Test Result:

I now know what a soda would taste like if it was enhanced by cherry flavored cough medicine.

What I find most fascinating about the B&C flavor is how dramatically split people are on it. I have found no one who said "Yeah, that's interesting, I'd get it if they were out of my regular flavor." It's either the best flavor of Dr. Pepper or the worst flavor in the world.

You're right, though, that it tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper with something wrong added to it. It's not like some of the other flavors in which the extra flavor changes the character of the soda itself - you can clearly taste the Dr. Pepper, and you can clearly taste the ass.
