Tasks accomplished yesterday:

1. Bought the Suit. Well, a nice sport jacket, pants and shirt (total price $209). Couldn't bring myself to pay $399 for a Pierre Cardin, no matter how nice it looked. Besides, I still need to get shoes.

2. Put away clean laundry, cleaned kitchen, and washed towels.

3. Reworked resume to include the rest of my job history (short as it is) and the business classes I've completed.

You will note the total lack of resume sending-outing. One excuse I can give is that we currently don't have a printer, or rather it's on the other computer desk, the usual box it would be attached to being over at our friend Steve' place, as he tries to convince it to accept the new HD as the C: drive. So I'm stuck depending on Tracy to print my resumes out at work. :( Probably won't get any out today either, as I figured out I neded to revise it after she brought the copies I'd requested home. Ah, well. Wendsday for certain, something will be sent out. Preferably at least three days worth of somethings.

Today: Get hair cut, clean off the dining room table and dining room itself, fold towels...

Oh, and no prosage today either. Because I don't have Word on this comp, and Notepad sucks ass.

Are you hitting the online-only job sites? Most of them are tehsuck, but I got my current position without sending out a single paper CV. You can throw a couple dozen out a day that way real quick.

craigslist.com was recommended to me. I know Monster.com is lousy, but I'm willing to try something new.

Actually I do most of my composition in Notepad MSEdit. But then, since the mid-90s at the latest, hardly any of it has been commercial work and/or destined to be printed for, or otherwise presented to, an editor.
