A better day
Jan. 14th, 2004 10:32 amTom (and I) got a decent night's sleep last night. He napped from 3 pm to 7 pm last night, woke up and toddled about until 11 pm, and then slept until 3:30 am. I packed it in around 10 pm after Tracy got home from work, and slept for about 5 1/2 hours straight (a record these past couple of weeks).
Better still, I got off the phone with the repair shop, and my car's damage was thankfully minor. Turns out I blew a seal on the steering pump from the impact on the curb, which (since they just replaced the pump in Nov.) the shop is going to fix it for free. The only cost to me is $95 bucks to realign my tires.
An honest auto repair shop is worth its weight in gold.
