jeriendhalPeta got back to me again. She loved the end of the story, and sent me two more pictures of Tez and Maria, which were great! I'm considering asking her for a commision to make a couple of more drawings, though. I'm considering writing up the characters from the story in GURPS terms, and sending them to Pyramid for a Supporting Cast article. Steven Marsh would probably be very, very happy for an article that came with its own illustrations for once, but I think I'd have to give him something a little more "PG" rated than Tez standing about shirtless and wearing a slave collar and cuffs.
Random thought: It's -5 here (counting the wind chill) today. I wonder how warm it is down in sunny Australia right now. No wonder she has time to make such nice drawings. She's not worrying about frostbite on her hands...
Tracy might be tapped by her library to attend the ALA conference down in Orlando, FL in June. I'm hoping if I can swing it Tom and I can come down with her and we can make it a regular family vacation. Should be able to get a hotel there for cheap, since my company is all over the place in that town.
Also, there's rumors abotu that Disney is finally getting around to releasing Season One of Gargoyles on DVD, which would be absolutely terrific. Hopefully they give Greg Wiseman and some of the voice cast a chance to do an audio commentary.
And I finally got my car back from the shop this morning, and it did indeed cost just $95 plus tax. So I get to drive it around for at least another six months until we decide what knid of minivan we can afford.
