Job Update
Feb. 24th, 2007 05:56 amIt doesn't suck quite as much as I was whinging about on Monday. I'm no so certain its going to viable in the long term if I don't get the library job though. The commute is horrible, with getting out of the city fast enough to get Thomas from daycare a fascinating exercise in chaos theory and traffic dynamics, and the fee to use the nearest parking garage is $155 a month.
I can do the job. It's mostly trying to navigate a badly organized menu system on a computer, but it isn't very satisfying. That and the trainers cheerfully contradict themselves by stating they want us to do the job right, not quickly, but then tell us we have to finish each call in an avergae of five minutes to keep up with the work flow or the state Medicaid group will get on the company's ass.
Le sigh.
