CAPSLOCK OF RAGE!!!!!!!
Feb. 24th, 2007 03:16 pmSo, I get my tire changed courtesy of AAA, and take my car into NTB to get the front tires changed and a oil change.
So, you might ask, why did I need a ride home and have my car pushed by the NTB people to the repair shop next door? Because apparently sometime during my last oil change at Jiffy Lube (or God only knows how many times before that) those ham handed idiots stripped out the plug for the oil pan and replaced it with something called a Helix screw. Which is only good for thirty days. Which I was never informed of.
I've been driving with it for at least four months.
Needless to say, I just had a very short conversation with a Jiffy Lube customer service rep, who promises (no really) that the district manager is going to check out my car and give me back an answer within 48 to 72 hours. Really.
In the meantime I've got to rent a car, and make worst case scenario plans to purchase a new car if I can't shake out the repair cost from Jiffy Lube. Because whatever its going to cost to repair is certainly more than the car is worth at this point.
AARRRRGH!
