jeriendhal | A Slightly Soggy 4th

Didn't do a great deal on the 4th. I watched Tom while Steve and Tracy went out to do some shopping, then we headed down to the pool briefly before it closed due to thunderstorms (Tom was extremely upset by the closing, but he calmed down eventually after we cuddled in bed for a time.) The most excitment we had was when my mom called and told us there was an alert for tornados in our area. I clicked the Weather Channel on and there was this lovely bright red warning banner shouting "TAKE COVER NOW!".

Stuff like that just doesn't happen in my neighborhood.

Anyway Steve stayed overnight so he could assemble our new computer. Hopefully it'll be functional. I am a bit worried about how much noise it's going to make though. The cooling fans are about twice as large as I've ever seen on a computer, and there are at least three of the things!
