I hate DayQuil

Which for me often seems a case of the cure being worse than the disease. Case in point, I'm nursing a lovely cold right now, which seemed to be moving into a nice little hacking cough this morning. So I took a couple of DayQuil and drove to work. Now I'm sitting at my desk feeling vaguely *artificial.* My nose has almost quit draining into the back of my throat, and there's no coughing now, but I'm feeling anything but alert. My perceptions are all fuzzed over, and I'm operating only at half speed. It almost makes lying in bed hacking up my lungs seem preferable.
