I no longer have a cold. It looks like a full fledged sinus infection. Must see the doctor this afternoon and get some anti-biotics.

Meanwhile I'm joining up with a LJ-RP based off of In Nomine. Hopefully no one has dibs on Christopher yet.

antibiotics for sinus infection?

Experiences in the Netherlands have lead to a regime of no antibiotics for sinus infections for the first week. It turned out that most sinus infections are in fact virus infections, so that antibiotics do not work. In stead of that, they have you try to open your sinusses by sitting above a steambath, and breating in the hot steam. Just water, nothing added. Together with general good care, that is usually enough. Only if this does not work after a week, antibiotics are started.

While you might still want to use antibiotics, I do recommend the steam bath (bowl with boiling water, and a towel over your head, so that the steam does not escape, and just breathing. if possible, breath through your nose.) This is something that helps me a lot when I have sinus problems.
