Since Friday

jeriendhalThis is how things have been going for *me* since Friday.
Friday: Thomas throws up at the daycare, forcing Tracy to leave work early and pick him up. He has a fever, so we figure it's stomach flu.
Saturday: My mom calls to tell me Dad is back in the hospital because he can't breathe.
Sunday: Thomas still running a fever.
Monday: I stay home with Thomas, because it has to be 24-hours after the fever has gone before he can go back to school. Steve comes home from work grumpy because evidentially I screwed something up massively on the maps. Mom calls to inform me that Dad has blood clots in his lungs and a blood infection, which will force him to stay in the hospital at least a week.
Tuesday: I start fixing the screwup. Miss Kim calls to tell me she and Tracy got into an argument, so she gives me her two week's notice. Tracy calls after she finds out about this and start bawling. Thomas throws up at school, after being well all day yesterday. Grandma Patton zooms down to watch him while Tracy and I recieve Thomas' evaluation from his teachers. This turns out to be the LEAST stressful part of the day. Thomas has been doing rather well actaully, though he still qualifies for an IEP, and will be going to school during the summer.
Wendsday: I'm watching THomas in the morning, Tracy will take the afternoon shift. Miss Carla calls me back THANK GOD, and agrees to take Tom into her daycare.

Date: 2004-03-10 06:20 pm (UTC)At least you've found Thomas a place to go. HOpefully the seemingly endless string of barfs and coughs going around will cease circling. We can hopefully get together for some therapeutic anime soon, yes?
