After a year of paper chasing, two years of waiting, a 13 hour trans-pacific flight and three days of sightseeing, in a little less than 2 hours, moonshadowed will be picking up our daughter Georgia at 10am Nanjing time and 10pm EST.

It's going to be a little while. Everything we've read about overseas adoption stresses giving the child at least a month basically alone with her parents before parading her before the rest of the extended family. But when that day comes rest assured we're going to show her off. :)

THye get back on July 10th. They're going to hang around Nanjing for a while longer and then fly to another province where the American consulate is to get Georgia's visa.
