A complete, original print of Fritz Lang's classic sci-fi film Metropolis has been discovered in Buenos Aeries, with ninety-two minutes of film never seen since it's original Berlin release in 1927.

Interesting. It's also been a some years since I saw Metropolis (making it already fuzzy in my head) so it'll be even more like watching a whole new movie by the time this full-length version hits the market.

Huzzah! I've got a tape of the 1984 (extensively modified) rerelease, but it would definitely be interesting to see what Lang actually did.
