Yes, once upon a time "Doom", that grandaddy of first person shooters, was a comic book.

Not a very good comic book, but a comic book nonetheless.

So feast your eyes upon the glory that is one space marine's quest to get the BFG 9000. Marvel at his muscles. Wince at his cliches. Wonder just what sort of combat drugs he's been using...

Okay, what was THAT? A payback for the Potter Puppet Pals?

Good lord, no WONDER people bitched about comics. This came out in 96 -- during the dark ages when I was no longer paying much attention to comics, and was instead paying attention to anime.

I think I won that battle.

Hey, at least Potter Puppet Pals had things like, y'know, plot, characterization, good jokes. This thing makes the worst hentai anime look like friggin' Shakespeare by comparison.
