Annoyances

1. Either Pyramid is on the fritz or they've done something with the security on my company's servers, because I can't login through my work terminal. Which is just as well, since I'm supposed to working, but it's still irritating.

2. I appear to be shedding Friends from my Livejournal account. Apparently I'm a really, really boring person. Or else people don't want to hear about The House of Plague.

3. I'm up to 90+ hits on my Deviant Art page, and still no comments on my stories.

4. I'm stuck on two stories, and I'm wanting to start writing a third, which I know is a Bad Idea since it'll just distract me from buckling down on the first two. OTOH this next one is just a ficlet, so it won't take anywhere near as long to finish.

5. Steve definitely has a cooler car than I do.

Must get some cheese to go with this whine...

Don't worry about Devart. Almost nobody leaves comments there.

Thanks. It's just irritating because I know about 30 or so people have actaully looked at my stories (probably helped by chaypeta's reciprocal link). They just don't seem to want to give any constructive (or destructive) criticism.

Most people who browse devart are looking for visual art. I've a visual art account at devart myself ('harukami') - nearly 1000 page hits (which doesn't include individual story hits) and I still get, on average, 80% of my work with no comments whatsoever.

People are just lazy. It's nothing personal.
