Fact: Newsweek reported that Obama made Star Trek jokes on the campaign trail.

Fact: His personal laptop features a Pac-Man sticker eating the Apple logo.

Fact: He read Harry Potter to his daughters at bedtime.

Given all that, if this is true then the geeks shall rule the Earth!

He also made a Superman joke during his roasting thingy. He said something like "Yes, I am Kal-El here from Krypton to save you."

I think having a geek for president will be fun! And smarter, because we have to be very organized in our geekiness to get things done. (Like adding up all the bonuses for our critical hits against red dragons, with our +4 sword of ice, but taking away from the dragon's DR modifier, but... =D )

Someday the security folks are going to have to get their act together and figure out a way to let the President move with the times, though.

Oh, forgot to say that the concept of having a geek for president is oddly -- reassuring. I keep thinking about all those geeks who are now multibillionaires...
