Poking at my DeviantArt site, I looked at the number of downloads for "Unexpected Diversions Pt. 1" which came out to about 72. "Pt. 2" has been downloaded approxmately half as many times (31 or so).

Yikes. Actions speak louder than comments left.

Of course it's possible that the dropoff is because readers of Pt. 1 were surfing for elf pr0n, and were confused when they found a story with, y'know, plot and characterization and some such (and no sex). :)

I suspect that has a LOT to do with it. It's what I expected until you described it.

Do you think it would help if I changed the capsule description of the story? I mean the basic plot does sound like a typical one-handed read you'd find at alt.sex.mygodyourfuckingthat? The devil is in the details of the thing.
