Bad Family News
Nov. 15th, 2009 08:29 pmAfter a couple of years of decline brought on by age and Alzheimer's,
moonshadowed's grandmother passed away at about 8pm this evening, after a short bout with pneumonia. She died in her sleep, and Tracy was able to visit her at the nursing home while I watched the kids before she passed away.
She'd never really been happy for the past fifteen years, since her husband passed away. At least now they're together again.

Date: 2009-11-18 10:39 am (UTC)I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. The death of a loved family member is a terrible thing to go through as we both know too well. Give Moonshadowed a hug for me.
We're going through the same kind of thing here. Wayne's Grandmother died recently. it was a hard thing but also very triggering for me. She died of exactly the same thing my mother did, oesophageal cancer, and pretty much the same way. I haven't told any of my online mates as yet because I'm only just getting the stage where I can separate her death from my mothers. It's been a tough couple of weeks.
Anway. Hugs again to both of you. And Tom and Georgia.
