Got the day off today

No, not for that. This was set in advance, so I can take Tom and Georgia to the optometrist. Georgia especially, because both my mom and Tracy's have noticed that she's got a bit of lazy eye, so we want to double check that and make sure it's fixed early. Tom on the other hand has both of our genetics, and frankly Tracy and I's eyesight are both awful without correction, so Tom is probably going to inevitably need glasses anyway.

Unfortunately I forgot to email my working copy of AtD to myself, so I can't work on it today, though I did manage to add over 800 words yesterday, as Blakely interviews the jogger who found Longstreet's body.

Funerally, the viewing is for Thursday, burial Friday. Still working on the schedule for that.

And, hey, both my parents wear glasses and have terrible eyesight, and none of their children inherited it :-D

And yes. Lazy eye is bad and must be corrected early. My roommate is nearly blind in one eye, because she has lazy eye which was undiagnosed until she was 20, and it's waaay too late to correct it.
