Workin' 'round the house

Shaved the lawn this morning and helped Tracy weed the front flowerbeds, after we got our annual nastygram from the homeowner's association. We'd been letting it go, so it took a while, but the end result was satisfying. I'd meant to hit the hardware and buy impatiens to plant, but I got stuck at the mall trying to find a watch shop to replace the battery in my Seiko. So instead I picked up some new curtain rods and blinds to put in our windows upstairs, which I'll get to after Tom wakes up from his nap.
