Richard Biggs 1961-2004
May. 24th, 2004 03:54 amFrom the Daily Illuminator (5/24)
"Along with most of the rest of you, we heard yesterday that Richard Biggs, best known as Dr. Stephen Franklin on Babylon 5, had passed away suddenly and quite unexpectedly at the age of 43. We're about to start watching the fifth season of B5 at our weekly TV/movie nights, and this news came as quite a shock.
The staff of Steve Jackson Games would like to extend their condolences to Rick's family and friends. He left us much too young."
I hope it doesn't turn out that he commited suicide or something. That would be too depressing.

Date: 2004-05-24 04:10 am (UTC)On the other hand, while I tend to trust JMS and Steve Jackson, it's worth noting that the only actual source for this information that I can find is this post - nobody else seems to be reporting the death at all. Might be because it was a weekend death, and again, I tend to trust JMS and SJG, but it just seems odd that neither any of the big news services nor IMDB have information on this. :/
