Well, that was fun
Mar. 11th, 2010 03:42 amAround 11:30 yesterday
moonshadowed got a call from Tom's school. His nose started bleeding again (for the fifth or sixth time since this cycle started) and since it had kept gushing for a half hour, the school nurse got worried and called 911. Despite working about ten miles further from the hospital than the school is, she still managed to beat the ambulance to Howard County General.
Tom's nose had stopped bleeding by the time the paramedics got him there, so no harm done in the end. They were impressed by how calm he stayed, and he was just a bit disappointed that they didn't turn on the sirens for him. The only problem now is that we're out a $150 co-pay for the emergency room visit (even if it didn't amount to anything). Ah well.
