Anyway. Dropped off the sick computer with

greyhawkfh. Alas, it has a weird monitor connection that he didn't have a connector for, but just from my verbal description of what was happening he guessed it was a case of bad sectors being encountered during the boot phase. Probably solution is a copy and repair of the hard drive. Likely worst case scenario is replacing the drive after trying to copy the vital stuff of it (like all of Tracy's picture from the China trip). So not too bad. At least replacing the motherboard isn't looking like it should be a worry.

Just need to keep from going insane while Tom hogs the remaining computer.
