Things I've Learned from Sherlock Holmes (2010) - Spoilers

1. "Ginger Midget" is an inherently funny phrase.

2. Robert Downey Jr. can manage an English accent that doesn't make me wince.

3. Near-stalker levels of jealous behavior is okay if it's between two guys.

4. Watson doesn't know that most judicial hangings are supposed to end in a broken neck, not a failed pulse.

5. Noel Coward's ancestors are not to be trusted.

6. If they ever do a remake of The Princess Bride (heresy!), we've got a good candidate for Fezzik in Robert Maillet. [1]

7. A Scooby Doo plot done up with fricking gorgeous CGI recreations of Victorian London is still a Scooby Doo plot.

I really, really, really, really love that movie. Two friends of mine who hadn't seen it bought it and watched it with me and I saw it again the next morning. I know I'm obsessed to an unhealthy degree, but it's just so fun!
