Car Update

jeriendhalTook yesterday off since I would have to wait around to hear from CarMax. First I dropped Tracy and the kids off at work and daycare respectively. Then I got home to find out that CarMax doesn't DO emergency repair work. I'd have to wait until they could see it next Tuesday. So I called AAA again and had to drive down to meet them at CarMax (the tow truck beat me there, so I had to call AAA and have him come back) and have it towed up to my local shop. If it was the electrical system they could still fix it under the warranty, it would just cost me an extra $25.
That blew my morning, so I did some housework while waiting to hear from them. They finally got back to me and said they only had to replace the battery. Which of course is not covered by the warranty, so that had to go on our emergency credit card.
But I have my car back. Now I can go back to work. Huzzah!
