State of Distraction

LMB's Cryoburn comes out tomorrow.

Fallout New Vegas is released next Tuesday.

This does not bode well for my ambition to actually plot out my Nano.

I think part of my problem is that I am used to reading science fiction books by people who are either dead or have stopped writing, since I tend to browse my Dad's shelves for everything.

That and all the living authors I read, my friends read, except for Bujold, and so the friend who works in a bookstore usually tells me when the books I am waiting for are in store.

AND I HATE SPOILERS FOR FOREVER. OMG why isn't it tomorrrooooooow.

I just ordered it off of Amazon. It's cheaper, and there aren't any independent booksellers that are within easy walking/public transit distance of me to support. BUT THAT MEANS I HAVE TO WAAAAIIIT NOW.
