Last Saturday: Watched the kids and felt inexplicably tired and sore all over. Got entirely too cranky with the kids at times and ended up dragging myself out to do grocery shopping and pick up Cryoburn in the evening. (which I'm still reading. It's an improvement over Diplomatic Immunity but not exactly a page turner)

Sunday: Woke up and finally figured out I'm running a fever. Drive up anyway to Austin's birthday party at my brother in law's house. Along the way we were nearly front ended by a moron who pulled out into our lane because the person in front of him wasn't turning fast enough. Basically came within five feet of hitting each other at about a combined speed of 80 mph.

Monday: Dragged myself to work since my fever had disappeared. Felt a bit better by the end of the day.

Tuesday: Bought Fallout New Vegas. I'm suitably impressed with it so far.

Wendsday, Thursday: Work, come home, help Tom with homework, ignore housework, wash rinse repeat.

Friday: Pick up a cranky Tom from daycare. Check him and find that, yep, I've passed the fever he gave me back to him.

Saturday: Writing Group at 10am today. Tom still running a fever. I'm still in need of a plot for nano.

AGH, SORRY!

AGH, SORRY!

Missed the "still reading" bit. Shouldn't try to comment when hungry. X(

No worries, I was already spoiled concerning the ending. :)

Yeah, I think I got confused, your mentioning that before conflated with "read the eARC" and blah...

Anyway, I did have some trouble getting into it, but I thought it got better once the hallucinations stopped.
