It completely blindsided me. I was expecting/hoping for father/daughter reconciliation, not this.

Well, she will reconcile in a sense. Because if Grim Eyes doesn't willingly eat her father's liver, Digger and Boneclaw Mother will cheerfully shove it own her throat.

That's true. I wonder how this will affect the hyenas - whether He-is could get his name partially cleared from this, or whether he'll just go wherever gods go when they die.

(Also, I hope we get to see Digger come home to her mother. I want to see other wombats.)
