I'm just praying we aren't being fooled by the trailer, but it seems to cover pretty much everything you could want from a CA origin story. Thought if it's a set up for the eventual Avengers moviem, it can't help but have a downer ending.
Captain America never really interested me as a child, and even though this has a lot of things I'd normally go for (explosions! Questionable science!), seeing this didn't make me care about the movie either way *shrug*. Maybe it's an American thing - as in, my lack of it.
It does look good, and Marvel's been doing much better writing with their movies than their comics these days, so I am looking forward too this. Cap was always one of my two favorite Marvel heroes, mainly due to his "a man amongst gods" vibe.
