Greycoat is one of the most dangerous critters ever known - the disillusioned former fanboy.

It's called insomnia. Never have been able to sleep past 4 am unless I'm utterly exhausted or horribly sick.

Well, at least I'm in bed by now.

Er...

(Pay no attention to this reply, pay no attention to the man behind the keyboard. This reply is clearly an illusion. Yep, you're just dreaming it.)

Other villainous death: having all his carefully-crafted plans suddenly go off either sliiiightly too early or sliiightly too late, meaning they implode on him and he's caught in the resulting confusion. Hoist by his own petard!

I would like to complain about this poll. In the third section there was no choice for "The what?"

And none of James Nicoll's cats.

For both hero and villain you left out "Die? Real heroes/villains never die."

1. Sorry. It's a silly One Hundred Years Later fanfic set in the universe of [livejournal.com profile] chaypeta's Terinu. The latter being a darned fine YA space opera (if unfortunately on hold while she deals with Real Life). Knowledge of the comic isn't strictly necessary, though it helps understanding some of the character interactions.

2. I really need to learn to drop that option. It's James' schtick honestly. I shouldn't steal it.

3. Point taken. :)

Hero's death options ought to have included "Defending a stranger".
