20 –Do you ever get bunnied from other people's stories or art in the same fandom?
Yep, my last story was directly inspired by a short piece that
chaypeta wrote.
21 – Sequels – Have you ever written a sequel to a fic you wrote, and if so, why, and if not, how do you feel about sequels?
I've got nothing against sequels, having written several myself, particularly in my alt-Terinu work The Grace of God.
22 – Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?
I don't even know what those are.

Date: 2011-06-23 05:55 am (UTC)About five fanfic term lists later I finally found a link to the Fanlore.org Fanfiction Glossary.
It turns out that in a fanfic fest you get people together and each provides a story prompt that the fest moderator(s) complile into a list, then choose a prompt from the list to write a story from.
A Big Bang is apparently an attempt to get collections similar to what the old fanzines would have. Working from some sort of prompt: a specific fandom, a list of story ideas, some sort of theme; writers start working on their fanfic. Artists working either off the same prompts the writers received, or off of drafts of the stories, create art to be included in the collection.
I'd realized that the OTW was working on a Wiki, but I hadn't checked it out. The glossary looks to be pretty thorough. Much, much more in it than any of the others I'd spotted.
