jeriendhal | In Williamsburg, with wireless

After frantically trying to clean up our house so our neighbor could watch Sadie and the cats, we finally left at 2pm for about a 3 hour trip down I-95 to Williamsburg, VA.

Naturally due to rain and crap traffic this worked out to more like 4 1/2 hours. We did finally arrive at the Historic Powhatan Plantation Resort (which is a lot more "Resort" than "Plantation". Checking in was relatively quick and we're now settled into a two bedroom upstairs condo with a kitchen bigger than our Pullman at home.

Unfortunately I had a hard time settling down and I think I got about three hours of sleep before Tom woke up. Worse,

moonshadowed is having seriously acidy stomach troubles which seem suspiciously like an ulcer. We're treating it with Tums right now (the Ratidine got left at home unfortunately, and the local CVS closed at 6pm yesterday) Today we may take it easy and just hit Colonial Williamsburg, since thunderstorms are predicted this afternoon.
