Well, blonde or white hair has the association of great spiritual or magical power in Japan. That's why the Super-Saiyajin transformation makes you blonde, why both Kaos and Arago in YST have white or extremely light hair, etc.

That said, Zorro as a blonde sounds... just wrong.

There's inherently wrong with the idea. It's perfectly possible to be of Spanish descent with light colored hair. But if there was ever an axiom of "Tall, dark and handsome" it would have to be Zorro.
