Dad's doing better

Apparently they successfully removed the breathing tube last night. Dad's still in "critical but stable" condition, but we're all guardedly hopeful that he's going to make it. It's going to be quite a while before he gets out of the hospital though, and then he'll be in for a stint at a physical therapy place, but the point is that he's still with us.

Dad is OFF the ventilator! W00T! Not to mention fully concious and wiggling his feet and toes like a champ. Thanks everybody for your positive thoughts!
