Dead VCR

My VCR decided to die last night, just in time to thwart my attempt to tape the Discovery Channel special on SpaceShipOne. Admittedly it was ten years old, which is quite elderly for VCR's (the silly thing outlasted my DIVX player), but it was still annoying. Now I must purchase a new one, which while it will be cheap, might be a tad hard to find these days.

And no, I'm not getting TIVO. It's terribly tempting, but I can't afford it right now.

Thanks. I caught part of it on CNN in my office's lobby. The Discovery Channel show was a documentary about SS1's development, with some looks at other people trying for the X-Prize.
